A Day In The Snow
Wake up in the morning, and get dressed to go snowboarding
together. There is nothing more fun than to drive somewhere in
the mountains and snowboard all day. Make some snow angels,
build a snowman, or have a snowball fight. And then at the end
of the day take a hot bath together, and drink some hot
chocolate! -submitted by Renate
A Night On The Beach
My boyfriend was scheduled to leave on a plane for a wedding and
was going to be away for a week. It was the dawn of a new
relationship for the both of us so we didn't want to leave each
other's sight. However, the night before his plane was leaving,
he bought a bottle of wine and took me for a sensual talk and
stroll on the beach. Afterwards, we went back to the parking lot
and continued our conversation until the day began to break,
where we fell asleep holding one another in the backseat of his
car. It was a very romantic, intimate and inexpensive date,
enjoyed by both of us. -submitted by Audrey
A Night Out On the Lake
My love left our 1 year anniversary planning up to me. So I
thought about possible romantic ideas. After a few days i had
the perfect idea. I picked her up and blindfolded her. I brought
her to the lake and walked her to the dock where a small
row-boat was awaiting us. I undid the blindfold and saw the look
of surprise on her face. Iin the boat was a dinner for two along
with a candle. I brought the boat out into the middle of the
lake and together we watched the sunset as we ate our dinner. We
then sat back and watched the stars. The night was unforgettable
and will live in our hearts forever. Next year it's her turn and
I'm anxious to see what she has planned. -submitted by brian and

A Sentimental Moment
Three years ago my beau and I were at my home in Indiana on one
of those nights where the fog keeps getting thicker and thicker
by the hour, so we decided to go for a walk in it. We heard my
horses in the field running back and fourth scared and in panic
of the darkness. Since he is a city boy he didn't know much
about horses especially riding them; I decided to go calm the
horses down by putting them in the barn and took him into the
field with me. He was a bit scared because their breath looked
like smoke in the air, but when I offered to let him ride he lit
up the biggest smile I've even seen. I got him onto her back
from the fence then climbed on myself. We rode her for what
seemed forever wih his arms around mine. We knew we were perfect
together that night (eventhough we'd been dating for a few
months already). We're married now, and always make it a point
to go horse back riding at least once a month together.

Away From The City
My husband and I love to go camping. We have everything you need
and more. We still rough it though. He packs everything, well
almost everything; I secretly bring along candles, lingerie, and
a fun dessert. It is so much fun and very romantic. He usually
cooks fish that we caught together and we usually have the radio
on playing classic country. This rejuvenates us so much and we
are refreshed when we return to our big city jobs. -submitted by

Back To Basics
My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 2 and 1/2 years!
One day, it was the first day of really nice weather and he told
me he had a surprise for me and it required me bringing my
roller blades. So I brought them and he picked me up and took me
to a state park nearby. We did the 8-mile trail around the lake
and afterwards he packed us a little snack. We put out a blanket
and ate, talked about our past, and really got in touch with
nature and each other. We even rewarded ourselves later with a
movie and Dairy Queen! We try to go a few times each summer and
do the same thing. -submitted by Annie
Beach Romance
Find a secluded area at the beach or lake before the sun goes
down. Place something to use as a fire pit. Then dig a hole 3 ft
wide by 1 ft deep. Fill with plastic bags of ice, and place a
bottle of champagne or your favorite beverage and 2 long stem
wine glasses. Either leave or bring lounge chairs, your favorite
radio or tape player for music. Return later with your love as
if it was going to just be a romantic walk, but instead you have
a beautiful night for two. :) -submitted by Johnnyboy
Chalk and Bubbles
My boyfriend and I sometimes "take turns" choosing what to do
when we have a day together. One day it was my turn to decide
and as we drove around I still didn't know what to do. As we
were passing a toy store I made him go in, he though I was being
silly but agreed. I bought 2 bottles of bubbles and a bucket of
sidewalk chalk that came to around $5. We drove to a lake in the
area and sat by the water blowing bubbles and writing fun things
on the paths. It brought out the kids in both of us and we had a
blast. The best part was we didn't use nearly all of it and we
kept them in his car occasionally bringing them out when we
didn't know what else to do. -submitted by Kira
Christmas Surprise
I'm a little strapped for cash right now but I really want to
get my boyfriend something special for Christmas. I found this
super cute stocking with little snowmen playing football on it
(it's so hard to find a unique but un-girly stocking) and I'm
filling it up with his favorite candy, notes, and poems. Also,
when we exchange presents I'm going to gift wrap a blindfold and
make sure it's the first gift he opens. I'm going to blindfold
him and take him to the spot at the lake where we first made
love, making sure to pack plenty of warm weather gear, and serve
him dinner, finishing off with his favorite dessert, and my
peanut butter pie. I'm so excited, I've never been able to
surprise him (in 3 years!) and I know he'll love it. -submitted

Everything And Nothing
A few nights ago, my boyfriend came over to my house. I'm a
college student, but since it's summer time, I'm living with my
parents right now. Well, we didn't really want to be around all
my family [parents and siblings] so we sat outside. We were
sitting in the driveway, looking at the sky, when [at the same
time] we saw a shooting star! It was so big and bright and
beautiful! And at the same time we both said "Did you see
that?!" Then we laughed, and really just forgot about it. Well,
a few minutes later, we saw another shooting star! So, after
that we spent the rest of the night lying outside [he let me
rest my head on his chest], looking for shooting stars. At the
end of the night, we'd seen fifteen shooting stars!! That was
the most romantic thing that I've ever experienced, because it
wasn't planned or anything and for every shooting star, I fell
more and more in love with him. -submitted by Chelle |
