A Bed Of Roses
My wife and I were having a hard time once...it was very bad.
So, one day at work I was thinking of a way to make up with her.
After work I ran out and got several red roses. I came home and
wrote a poem riddle to direct her as to what to do. We had music
to dance to, and I whispered many things in her ear. The last
song we danced to was "Bed of Roses." After that I picked her up
in my arms, and carried her to her big treat. I gently laid my
beautiful wife in that bed of roses...and you let your
imagination tell you the rest. -submitted by Anonymous
A Little Escape
My boyfriend had been really stressed, and it seemed like
everything I did or said only made things worse. We even had
"the world’s dumbest arguement" so, I sent him an email and told
him, "Let me help you escape your problems; give me 5 ways I can
make this weekend relaxing. There is only one rule, absolutely
no worrying or stressing!” We had the best time spending the
weekend “escaping”! -submitted by Zundra
Always Close To Me
My boyfriend and I have been going out for six months. Of
course, like every couple, we have our fights, but there was
this one time right before Valentine’s Day that I started
crying. He couldn't believe that he had made me cry, so he took
out a jewelry box (my Valentine's Day present), which had a
heart shaped necklace in it. Then he took of his ring that I’ve
always seen him wear since we first met, and slipped it onto the
chain with the heart. It was his father's wedding ring. (His
father had passed away when he was three years old.) Now I know
how truly special I am to him and feel that his father and him
are always close to me, looking out for me. And on Valentine's
Day he made me dinner, a CD, a teddy bear, and gave me roses.

Celebrate Our Love
After a rough time in our relationship, I decided that the best
way to get us back on track was to celebrate our love. I lit
scented candles, put fluffy pillows on the floor and chilled 2
bottles of champagne. When my husband arrived, we took turns
telling each other something about the relationship that we
cherished, then we drank a toast. It was good to reaffirm our
love! -submitted by Rita
Forgiveness Proposal
One day last year, I heard that my boyfriend had been cheating
on me with another girl. We got into a huge fight and I wouldn't
talk to him. He tried to call me, but I wouldn't answer, so he
left a message on my machine. He said that he really didn't
cheat on me, and that an ex-girlfriend had just been spreading
rumors to make me jealous. He told me to come outside. I walked
out my front door, and there in the snow, completely covering my
front lawn were rose petals. In the middle was a circle of
candles with my boyfriend standing within. He came over to me
and he took my hand and told me how sorry he was that he caused
me pain. Then he kissed me, just a peck on the cheek. He told me
that it was for his feelings about his ex-girlfriend. Then he
kissed me long and passionately, and told me that that was for
his love for me. He brought me to the center of the ring of
candles, and proposed to me. We kissed until all of the candles
had burned out and it was completely dark. I thought it was a
really sweet way for him to apologize. I found out later that he
really didn't cheat on me, and today we're engaged. -submitted
